At Rumbling Bald, our corporate structure was established at the same time the developers set up the association. The Articles of Incorporation establish us as a non-profit corporation and do several things for Rumbling Bald:

There are a number of benefits to incorporating a community association.

Incorporating can help to limit the liability of individual owners for acts of the community association

It entitles Rumbling Bald to the rights granted to all corporations under state law. This can be useful in areas such as obtaining financing, obtaining insurance, or bringing suit against another party.
