The Granddaddy Fly-Fishing Experience, LLC, owned and operated by Rutherford County native Michael L. Yelton, provides full-service fly fishing excursions in the beautiful Lake Lure area and throughout the magnificent waters of Western North Carolina.
Fly fishing excursions target a variety of species of fish including trout, smallmouth and largemouth bass, carp, crappie and bluegill.
All anglers must have a NC Fishing License. You can obtain a fishing license (and trout stamp if fly fishing for trout) online by visiting www.ncwildlife.org or by calling 1-888-2HUNTFISH (1-888-248-6834).
