Pearson's Falls - Saluda, NC

This botanical preserve is comprised of 268 acres of native forest, granite, spring-fed streams and a moderate 1/4 mile trail to a 90 ft. Waterfall.  There are over 200 species
of rare wildflowers, and plants, mosses, lichens and trees in this glen which is classified as a deciduos climate forest.

Pearson's Falls is on private property, but the nice folks at the Tryon Garden Club allow public access. There's a small fee - $5 per person 12 years of age and up, $1 for kids 6-12, kids under 6 are free.

Pearson's Falls is located approximately 45 minutes South of the Resort, via some of the area's most beautiful scenic byways.
