Red Bird Retreat is a two story log home nestled on the hillside overlooking a small stream bed with views toward the mountains beyond. The large rear deck is a perfect spot to gather everyone for a cookout using the gas grill and take in the clean mountain air. With a massive stone fireplace separating the great room from the dining room and kitchen, the spacious feel of the mountains takes you away. This is majestic elegance in a rustic setting, with a modern kitchen and large screen TV for those times when you prefer to retreat into this haven of natural beauty inside the home. Downstairs, there is room to spare, with a huge open room featuring big screen TV, pool table, and wet bar. This area affords a great space for the kids to spread out as the natural light from the large windows opening toward the rear deck fills the area with soft light on the warm log walls. The master bedroom doors open to the deck to catch a glimpse of the stars in the crisp night sky. All this peaceful seclusion is yet just 3 minutes from the golf course, fitness center, spa, lazy river, marina and restaurants. Red Bird Retreat offers the place to bring the family together for a mountain getaway, or a business retreat with separate bedrooms and large common space to meet together in a relaxing, Blue Ridge Mountain atmosphere that can't be beat! Master Bedroom has Queen bed; BR2 has Queen' BR3 has two Twin beds; BR4 has a queen; and BR5 is a bunk room featuring a bunkbed with Double on bottom and Twin on top and another bunk with Double on bottom and two Twins on top and seperate Twin bed. Although Red Bird Retreat could sleep up to 15 guests in 5 separate bedrooms, the Town of Lake Lure restricts occupancy to a maximum of 8 overnight guests.

This property allows for 8 maximum guests, no smoking and no pets. A one time housekeeping fee of $50 is charged on all rentals. During summer and peak seasons, or to book this property online, you must select at least a 7-night minimum rental.
