Cove Cottage features a state of the art kitchen, dining room for six and video library for the kids, a DVD player and cable/satellite TV. Wireless internet keeps you connected. This 3 bedroom home will build great memories of your lake vacation. A wood fireplace and BBQ grill on the deck provide the right touch for either a summer evening grilling with friends, or an autumn evening by a cozy fire. The fully equipped kitchen includes a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and coffeemaker plus all the cookware and dining utensils and place settings.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, and bedroom #3 has double bed. There is also a queen size futon for extra sleeping area to allow as many as 8 people to enjoy this home. The loft features a cute antique claw-foot tub and shower. As with all Rumbling Bald Resort vacation rentals, you'll find all the beds made for your arrival and towels, washcloths, etc for your visit. There's also a washer and dryer, to take care of the swimsuits, as the dock and beach beckons all types of water activities on the Lake Lure waterfront.

This home comes with it's own pair of kayaks for exploring the lake, as well as a dock on Lake Lure. Cove Cottage includes a waterfront dock, but the house itself does not sit directly on the water. The dock is accessible just across the street and down a set of stairs descending the hillside to the waterfront. The house is accesssible from the driveway ascending up the wooded hillside.

The setting for this home is a quiet, secluded cove, well off the beaten path. A private, one-lane drive winds along the hillside for about 600 yards to the driveway. When the leaves are off the trees, the view from the front deck and living room windows is of Lake Lure. In Summer, the views are of the decidious hardwoods of western North Carolina.

This lake property is located off the Resort, but the rental price includes guest passes to access Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure and all amenities associated with other vacation rentals within the Resort boundaries. The Resort access gate is about 2.5 miles further along the shoreline road from the entrance to this home.

This property allows for 8 maximum guests, no smoking and no pets. A one time housekeeping fee of $50 is charged on all rentals. During summer and peak seasons, to book this property online, you must select at least a 7-night minimum rental.
