This exquisite 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home is located on tranquil Shumont Lake, a small private lake within the resort. This cozy hideaway is a newly constructed, 2000 square-foot home with plenty of luxurious comforts including wireless Internet. All four bedrooms (two kings and two twins) have their own private baths, making this home ideal for two couples and their children to share a fantastic vacation experience. The main level great room, which overlooks placid Shumont Lake, features a high dome ceiling, hardwood floors, stone fireplace with gas-burning logs, loveseat, armchair, rocker, flat screen TV with DVD player, and bookshelf stereo with CD player. French doors open onto a covered porch that wraps around three sides of the house with great waterfront views and steps leading towards the dock.

The dining room has an oval wood table with seating for six, plus two additional seats at the bar and a small breakfast table with 2 stools. A den just off the dining room offers an extra TV, and an assortment of movies, games, puzzles and toys for the kids. The screened porch off the dining room affords a fabulous overlook of the lake for outside entertaining and relaxing. A small chiminea on the outdoor deck makes a great place for roasting marshmallows or warming up on a cool evening. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with ceramic top range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, and coffeemaker. A laundry room off the kitchen houses a full-size washer and dryer.

The bedroom on the main level has a king bed, TV, and private bath with a deep soaker tub as well as a separate shower. Going upstairs to the loft, you find a landing with a futon, Foosball game, and bookshelf with books. Off the landing are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, the other with 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have their own private full baths.

On the lower level is a large family room with sofa, loveseat, 52-inch widescreen TV, and games. This level also contains the fourth bedroom with 2 twin beds and an adjoining bath with step-in shower. In the owner's guest book, visitors praise the serene setting and record memories of watching geese on the lake, sitting on the porch listening to cicadae and bullfrogs, catching smallmouth bass, and watching wonderful sunrises. Stay here to enjoy the seclusion of a wooded setting on a private lake and yet be within a few minutes drive of all main resort restaurants, recreational facilities, and amenities.
