We had an amazing time at the resort. this was our first visit. we brought our 4 children, ages 12, 6, 4 and 2 as well as my in laws from the UK. Our house was just perfect for us and we loved the river and the deer who came to visit each day. my oldest son slept upstairs in the "games" room and this was my only complaint about the property: all of the fold out couch mattresses need replacing. we ended up putting the couch cushions on top of the mattress for him. other than that the place is perfectly stocked. the kitchen was great and we cooked all of our meals there. the staff at the resort were incredibly nice and accommodating to us. we had such a lovely time. the beach was beautiful and the pools were clean and warm. i used the treadmill in the workout center a couple of times, it was in great working order. we will most certainly be back! and we rented a pontoon boat for a morning, everyone loved that!

The perfect getaway for young and old alike. We spent some very special days here as a family. Played golf/putt-putt, rented boats, swam in the lazy river, watched funny movies,saw deer and wild turkey, grilled fabulous meals and in general, had priceless time together as a family. Priceless is the best word for this property...

River Runs Through It is a spectacular home placed on a stunning property in the resort. As you fall asleep at night, the stream will assist in doing so with its peaceful noises. The cabin is spacious and well decorated, and it is a great place to get away from home!

This was such a great house up in the beautiful North Carolina mountains surrounding Lake Lure. It was the perfect location with a peaceful river running almost through the house and that made a beautiful sound. It is a great house for a summer getaway or even a winter hiking excursion. The amentities in the house are unbeatable and the house is in mint condition. It is perfect for a large family gatehring because of the overly spacious rooms or a couples retreat to escape the hustle and bustle. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends for a nice and relaxing vacation.

There were seven of us in our group. This house was fantastic. We would golf all day (up to 54 holes)and loved sitting out back with some drinks and watching the river. There was an abundant amount of deer that we would see nightly. It is not too far from the golf course (a few hundred yards). We are staying in The Terrace House this year (on the course)otherwise we would go back to River Runs Through It. Inside of the house was immaculate with pleny or room. We could have slept nine easily. I mean it when I say we loved the place. No one will be disappointed with their stay here. All the Best, Frank
