We stayed at lot #157 over the 4th of July weekend 2011. The site is fantastic. It is beautiful with a deck and screened Gazebo. The view of the small lake is unobstructed. A lot of wildlife. We had deer on the property on 6 different occasions. The contact woman for the resort in the office was new and did not really have a handle on what was available, where, and when. Once we discovered the password (a chore) the WiFi worked well. We ate dinner at Larkins on the lake. I cannot say enough great things about the location, food, or service. It was perfect. We took a one hour lake tour that was wonderful. We also took a tour of Chimney Rock and then the Biltmore estate (expensive but nice). There is an Ingeles grocery store nearby. It is brand new and well stocked. Take your time driving and DO NOT PASS THE RV PARK or you may damage your rig turning around (if you can). If you call for help with directions and they tell you to just stop by the resort office DO NOT DO IT. Just have them meet you at the site. Our friends did a couple of thousand dollars worth of damage. When they asked how to turn around they were told hmmm well good luck.
