Lake Lure Area Transportation

Limited public transportation is available for Resort visitors and guests to visit local attractions and shopping areas. The Transit Administration of Rutherford County offers bus service between the Resort, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park. There are two pick up locations at the Resort - (1) at the main entrance just outside the Security Gate, and (2) at the top of the parking lot at Apple Valley Golf Course. The bus schedule is listed below. Since this service is new in 2010, we recommend verifying schedules prior to departure; it is possible that future adjustments may be made to the schedule.
