Lake Lure Kayak & Canoe Rentals

When your family is ready to explore on Lake Lure or on our private Bald Mountain Lake, a kayak rental from the North Shore Beach Cabana will satisfy your sense of adventure and get you up close and personal with one two of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Kayaks and canoes are available for rent by the hour, seven days a week. It’s a great family activity for any age. All safety gear is included. Standard canoes and both single and double kayaks are available.

Kayak Rental Rates

Single Kayak Rental Rates:
Easy to use, safe and stable recreational one-person kayak rental on Lake Lure including paddle & life jacket.
1 hour - $20; 2 hours - $35

Double Kayak Rental Rates:
Easy to use, safe and stable recreational two-person kayak rental (with 3rd seat for small child) on Lake Lure including paddles & life jackets.
1 hour - $25: 2 hours - $45

Canoe Rentals: (On Bald Mountain Lake)

Enjoy the peaceful and serene Bald Mountain Lake. Guests may rent a canoe on this lake, which is perfect for fishing or families with children. Swimming is not permitted in Bald Mountain Lake. (No fishing license is required to fish on this lake.)
