Lake & Water Activities at Rumbling Bald Resort
At Rumbling Bald Resort we offer a tremendous variety of mountain lake activities that will keep your vacation filled with great memories no matter when you visit. You can choose to relax and spend a sunny afternoon watching the children swim from our sandy beach or take the adventurous route and lead your family on a grand kayak tour of Lake Lure. Not matter what your style of fun in the water is, we have something here for everyone.
In fact, Charlotte Magaine's June 2012 issue had an article titled "7 Great Lakes to Visit - All Less than 4 Hours Away" showcasing 7 of the best lake escapes the south has to offer. We are so excited to know that Lake Lure was choosen as one of the seven.
If during your vacation you plan to bring your own watercraft please note that the use of wave runners, jet skis or similiar personal watercraft is currently prohibited on Lake Lure. However, boats are allowed and a permit is required to put your boat on Lake Lure. For permitting information click here.
