Spa Hours & Reservations

The Spa at Rumbling Bald offers four private treatment rooms for Massage, Body Treatments, Facials, and Nail Services. Spa guests are welcome to use the adjoining dry sauna, steam room, indoor pool, and whirlpool facilities before or after their spa service.

The Spa: 9:00am - 5:00pm*
The Salon: 9:00am - 5:00pm*
Wellness Center: 7:30am - 8:00pm (Mon-Sat); 7:30am - 5:00pm (Sun)
Indoor Pool: 7:30 am - 7:30 pm (Adult Swim 7:30 am - 10:00 am)

*Hours are subject to change seasonally. Indoor pool closes 30 minutes prior to Wellness Center.

Individual appointments may be scheduled by visiting the Wellness Center Reception Desk, by telephone or through our reservations department as part of a room package. Couple massages need advanced notice.

For Day Visitors
The Spa and Salon is located in the Wellness Center at Rumbling Bald Resort on Lake Lure. From US 64/74 turn on Bill's Creek Road for 2.8 miles to Buffalo Creek Road. Turn Left on Buffalo Creek Road and follow for 2.5 miles to Resort Entrance. Print driving directions here.

Cancellation / Rescheduling Policy

We require notification prior to the scheduled appointment to cancel or re-schedule. Please contact more than 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.

Arrival

We invite you to check in 30 minutes prior to your scheduled service to relax in our adjoining dry sauna, steam room, indoor pool, and whirlpool facilities We regret to inform you that late arrivals will result in abbreviated service.

Spa Use and Admission

Spa services are available to guests age 18 and older. Young adults ages 5 – 17 may engage in specific treatments when accompanied by an adult. Use of spa facilities (includes dry sauna, steam room, indoor pool, and whirlpool facilities) is complimentary for all spa guests on the day of scheduled spa services. Spa facility use without a treatment is available to Resort members and registered guests only without a Spa service.

Please inform us of any medical conditions or other special needs that require our attention.

Spa Attire

Complimentary use of spa robes and slippers are provided for all guests upon request. Our staff is professionally trained in proper draping to ensure modesty and comfort throughout your treatment.

Valuables

Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables in The Spa. Unfortunately, we are unable to replace or pay for items that are left or lost at The Spa.

Considerations

To preserve our tranquil environment, The Spa is a pager, cell phone, smoke, and alcohol free environment. At this time we are unable to accommodate food requests.
