“Cultivating an attitude of gratitude begins with counting your blessings. In simpler terms, gratitude is expressing thanks for gifts we receive. Genuine gratitude helps us to see the little things in life that are often overlooked, yet so precious.” ― Dana Arcuri
Stunning Views and Captivating Color
Our location among the Blue Ridge Mountains and adjacency to the north shore of Lake Lure creates the perfect combination for experiencing fall beauty. Color begins to pop up late September but showcases itself in October and November.

Named one of the most beautiful man-made lakes in the world by National Geographic, Lake Lure offers some of the most magnificent views found in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The lake is surrounded by lush mountain tops and sheer granite cliffs, and from almost any vantage point on the water you can see the famous Chimney Rock standing stately. Take a short trip from the lake and visit Chimney Rock Park where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the lake and the whole of the Hickory Nut Gorge.
