Our wedding weekend was unforgettable! And not just for us, but for our family & friends, too!

I had been to Rumbling Bald for vacation with my family a couple of times, but we didn't spend much time at the restaurant/terrace so I had a lot of questions! Kathy was so patient with all of my questions and had a way of making me relax as we planned our wedding from Florida. She was great!

Our plan was to have the ceremony at the gazebo and the reception on the terrace. But, Mother Nature had other plans! The chance of rain was 60% for the time of the ceremony. We were the only wedding planned that Saturday, so Ronnie & his crew agreed to set up the gazebo and the terrace for the ceremony and moved the reception inside. We were very thankful to Ronnie for working so hard to make our day special! I was able to have my walk with my father down to the gazebo just before the rain started. Our guests were moved to the terrace and we continued our ceremony there. Surprisingly, I didn't even notice the rain! It went so smoothly and better than I could have expected!

We received so many compliments on the weekend. Our family & friends traveled from all over to be there and knowing that they enjoyed their time at Rumbling Bald made the weekend complete.

(One more thing, if you have your furry friends in the wedding, make sure there aren't any geese on the shoreline! Ours decided to chase after them!)
