Whether you’re seeking a florist, photographer, officiant, rental equipment provider or entertainer, our list of recommended vendors is a great tool. While you are not required to use our vendors, choosing from our list ensures that you will receive a quality product or service partly because each of our vendors have been recommended by at least three brides who held their weddings at Rumbling Bald Resort. As an additional benefit, these vendors are familiar with our facilities and can offer insights from other experiences they’ve had at our location.
2. Use a Wedding Planner/Coordinator
There’s always going to be a small amount of stress surrounding a wedding no matter how far in advance you plan, but having a wedding planner can help diminish that stress. A wedding planner can assist with as little or as much as you want however, we’ve found that using a coordinator’s services for at least decorating and rehearsal results in the best match up for our facilities. Aside from the cake, we do require that the catering for your dinner/reception be provided by the Resort. 4. Visit for Hair and Makeup
Brides getting married at the Resort can take advantage of our skilled hair and makeup stylists to help complete their wedding day look. If you choose to use our services, which 70% of our brides do, we suggest scheduling a trial appointment. 5. Keep the Decorations Simple
One of the benefits to getting married at Rumbling Bald Resort is the gorgeous backdrop. While the scene still looks great with a large amount of decorations. Kathy suggests keeping decorations simple and letting the scenic views of Lake Lure and the surrounding Blue Ridge mountains do the work for you.
