Early Boat and Slip Reservations open Monday, April 13th!

The North Shore Beach Cabana will begin accepting reservations for Boat and Temporary Slip Rentals for Friday, May 22nd through the end of October on Monday, April 13th. Members can make reservations via the member app/website. Reservations may also be made by calling the North Shore Beach Cabana directly at 828.694.3019 for additional details and availability.

PRO TIP: "This year, Apple Valley is turning 40. But I wouldn`t call it `over the hill`...Apple Valley has long been a favorite of all golfers in Western NC. It is a true championship golf course, and it holds its own at just over 6,700 yards from the back tees. The real test of the golf course lies in the green surfaces. The bermudagrass greens, converted from bentgrass in 2020, are seemingly always in great shape and have great speed. The slope of the greens is where our golfers tend to stand, confused after an errant putt finds its way off the front surface.

There is ample room on the teeing grounds, and the fairways are right in front of you. But once you release your iron shot towards the green, that`s when Apple Valley stands tall.

MEET OUR TEAM: "Hey, everyone! I’m Lukas — the guy who gets way too excited about décor, details, and a perfectly set room. I started my journey at Rumbling Bald in early 2022 as a server. The connections, the memories, and the fast-paced energy of hospitality have all helped shape who I am today.

After graduating with my degree in Hospitality Management in 2025, I jumped into Banquet & Event Management, and it’s been the most exciting part of my career. I love setting up our beautiful venues, welcoming our members and wedding guests, and watching each event come to life. It’s fun, creative, and where I feel the most `me.`

Outside of work, I enjoy shopping, traveling, going out with friends, and spending time with my nieces, who always keep life lively.

I’m really looking forward to everything we’ll create and celebrate together this year.
